About the Item

This is a fully adjustable floor lamp composed of a chromed steel stem, a brass shade holder and a shade and base in brushed aluminium. This light called the 'Trava' was designed by Carl Thore's alias Sigurd Lindkvist. It was manufactured by Granhaga Metallindustri in Sweden during the 1960s. Measurements: H: 130 cm, D: 19 cm.

Replacements made: Parts of the stem/pole and base has probably been added/altered later on. The shade and socket are original. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Wellkept, and working order. Light superficial ware and patina consistent with its age. Some spots where the orange paint are missing to the top tiers on the shade.
