Mid-Century Side Table This handcrafted solid mahogany library table from 1950s Glasgow features a unique book turn and an integrated floor lamp. Boasting clean lines reflective of a simplified Art Deco style, it combines timeless appeal with practical design, offering a novel approach to the traditional side table. Meticulously refinished to preserve its character, the table bears minimalistic charm and rich history. Key points: Handcrafted in Glasgow, Scotland, around the 1950's, with original patina beneath a refreshed wax finish. Dual-function design: features a rotating book turn and integrated lamp, with updated electrical functions. Solid mahogany build, presenting age-related character through light surface markings and historical wear. Please note: The electrical components have not been PAT tested. And the table comes without lampshade.

    Rewired: Rewired with an edison screw lamp holder, 3 core cable, and new plug - NOT PAT TESTED. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Refinished.. The age and wear of the piece/wood have been carefully refinished in order to maintain the integrity of the piece. Bowing to table top and shelf and general age and wear—please see images.
