Swedish Modern Eje Ahlgren Brass Floor Lamp by Bergboms, 1960's
About the Item
This floor lamp with fully adjustable shade was manufactured in brass by Bergboms and designed by Eje Ahlgren. The protruding brass rod at the top of the shade is intended to be used as a simple but effective way of moving the shade position from 128cm H to a maximum height of 137cm. A pull cord is utilised to light lamp. Includes a plastic diffuser that also helps to hide the bulb. I studied prices and noticed that the lamps that were cheaper did not have this cover. Aesthetically it looks much better and is part of the original design.
