French Sunburst Flower Light Fixture , Black Iron, Milk Glass
About the Item
Eye-catching hand-hammered iron and opaline glass flower flush mount / wall light. France, 1940s-1950s.
This light fixture features a round iron backplate adorned by twisted iron ropes as petals and a layer of leaves surrounding the central milk glass shade. It has a beautiful design in transition from Art Deco to Brutalism. Original black painted finish and original patina.
Beautiful placed alone but also interesting mixed with other light fixtures in this manner to create a ceiling or a wall composition.
Newly wired with an E27 bulb holder
