About the Item
Large 1960s Vistosi Blown Murano Brass and Glass Wall or Ceiling Light.
Executed in blown Murano glass with a brass centerpiece, this rare flush mount features a distinctive spiral pattern and can be installed on either the wall or the ceiling. Its organic curves yet minimalistic design are characteristic of Italian midcentury design of the era. Retains original manufacturers sticker.
Vistosi was founded by Guglielmo Vistosi in Murano in 1945. His sons Gino and Luciano Vistosi dedicated their lives to the art of shaping Murano glass to create unique and sculptural pieces, which are still sought after by collectors today.
Accommodates 3x 60W equivalent standard US candelabra base (e12) LED bulbs (LED only). Professionally rewired for US electrical but not UL listed. Recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, marks, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
