About the Item
Yellow painted French tole lantern. 19th century lantern with glass-paneled sides. Suitable for a table top or can be wall-mounted with the addition of a bracket. Lantern is not electrified, but can be wired, or fitted for gas usage, for additional cost. Early painted finish with losses.
Note: Original/early finish on antique and vintage metal will include some, or all, of the following: patina, scaling, light rust, discoloration, and corrosion. When shipped, antique wood may shrink and/or split along its grain due to changes in humidity and climate. Likewise, painted finishes and gilt may flake and/or crack for the same reasons.
