1 of 60 ORGANIC SCONCES OUT OF CINEMA & THEATRE by VEB LEUCHTENBAU DRESDEN, GERMANY, 1970s, E27
LAYERED MOULDED OPAL GLASS, CHROMED FRAME, DIAMETER 8,5 INCHES, HEIGHT 6,5 INCHES
The sconces of VEB Leuchtenbau Dresden Manufacture 4111-5052 in 2- layered ( white inside and clear outside) moulded opal glass are in nearly perfect condition, careful cleaned and rewired. The chromed surfaces show minimal signs of life. This Design of the Dresden Manufacturer was a very fine solution to develop modern lighting with organic form language. First quality production is dated Oct. 31. and Nov. 01. 1977. The diameter is 8,5 inches, the height 6,5 inches.
