About the Item
For your consideration are these fabulous set of Art Deco glass wall light sconces, in a rare set of four, much larger than normal and possibly we think originally from a commercial premises such as a cinema or offices. The satin glass slip shades sit snugly inside heavy chrome wall brackets with a single bulb holder behind. The bulb holders have been replaced with relatively modern ones which aren't particularly pretty but you can't see them and so in that regards doesn't matter but they aren't original to the lights. We would suggest 25 - maximum 60 watt candle shape bulbs. These give a fabulous effect when lit against the wall. Really stylish set good vintage condition. The thick heavy frosted glass has a geometric pattern in relief, really oozing quality. Lemon yellow glass , offering a bright and splash of vibrant Deco colour iconic from this era. These lights look both impressive when switched on or off.
Re-wired for UK use but will need testing by qualified electrician. For international buyers they will need re-wiring but your electrician can quickly and easily do this whilst installing them.
