European midcentury design is generally characterized by simple, elegant forms that embraced timeless beauty with impeccable quality. The era marked a significant period for European Mid-Century Modern lighting design, often made with Industrial materials. This wall light is a prime example of this trend, featuring a sleek and Minimalist metal structure. The rest of the design is not shorn of decorative elements either, which is especially apparent in the pronounced curve of the at the base of the tube. As it is followed by a long, straight line, it creates balance that shows the designer’s keen eye.
