Lighting system composed of pendant and wall version, realized with the combination of the smoothness of a hand-blown, satin glass and the stiffness of the aluminium bars. The two bars host 2 10W LEDS for the wall version, and 4 10W LEDS for the pendant version.
Filippo Taidelli in 2005 he founded FTA, a multidisciplinary architectural and design firm based in Milan. Operating both in Italy and abroad, FTA develops integrated design projects of various scale, spanning residential and commercial to office. FTA’s activity is focused on energetic efficiency with a specific attention to context and territory. FTA’s philosophy is characterized by energetically efficient consciousness and sensibility toward context and topology. The firm aims to implement a delicate balance between innovative technologies and the use of traditional materials – rendering the complexity of integrated design into its most essential creative expression. Filippo Taidelli has led the Master in Sustainable Architecture at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Turin, the Interior Project lab in the Faculty of Interior Design at Milan’s Politecnico and the Office design lab at Polidesign.

In an age of blaring noise, blatant commercialism, and pretentiousness, Firmamento Milano stands for the exact opposite. Restrained and discreet, their products range has a strong point of view and a powerful personality. With 50 years of experience in the business world, including over 35 years in design production and distribution, Carlo Guglielmi decided to create Firmamento Milano. Carlo Guglielmi’s goal is to create a catalogue with a collection of products strongly independent of what the market may be demanding. A collection inspired by a deeply-rooted culture of design. Located in Milan, Italy, Gugliemi says that “Milan has always been the capital of a powerful industrial and commercial network, and today it is recognized worldwide as a vital hub of culture, art, creativity, and innovation.” For this reason, the city’s name has contributed to the title of Gugliemi’s company, in order to reflect the city and its values. With that in mind, Carlo Gugliemi wanted to include the name ‘Firmamento,’ due to its meaning "the firmament above us, the sky sparkling with ideas, dreams, values, architects, and beauty.” Today, these values are an essential part of Firmamento Milano, which they want everyone who collaborates with them to share.
