First edition sculptural counter balance ceiling lamp designed by JJM Hoogervorst for Anvia Almelo, Holland, 1957.
This amazing lamp has a white lacquered arm and red shade and weight (which has been professionally repainted in it's original red shade colour).
The lamp balances in any wanted position by changing the weight at the back as you can adjust this back and forth at the end of the arm which creates the balance of this lamp.
