Mid-Century Modern Handblown Murano Translucent & White Striated Sconce
About the Item
This beautiful handblown glass sconce was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production, circa 1980. It features a rounded ovoid body in translucent murano glass with candy striped white striations running at a bias, as well as brass fittings at the top and bottom. With its refined color palate and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. We have a total of three of these sconces available for purchase.
