Pair Antique French Empire Style Gilt Bronze Wall Sconces
About the Item
Tall three light electrified wall sconces with various decorative motifs top to bottom in a French inspired design. The eagle crest is perched atop clouds with an inscribed shield (to the stars) on the fluted support with four standing flags. The three sinuous and twist lights end in a lotus flower support. The terminal in the shape of a ship is suspended from a band with chains and pendant ropes and an anchor.
Measures: height 27 1/4", wide 12", depth 7 1/2".
Condition: Please see all detail photos. The overall condition is very good with a few age-related dark marks to the gilt and some discoloration to the candle sleeves which do not affect the magnificent presentation.
