About the Item
This pair of Art Deco frosted glass slip shade wall sconces are unsigned, but presumed to have been made in the United States in approximately 1920 in the period Deco style. The wall brackets are made of metal with a brass or bronze patination, and the an shaped molded glass shades are ribbed and frosted. Please note the condition issues identified below, as the shades have been glued into the brackets as evidenced by the residue present on the inside, which is not visible from the outside.

- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: The shades have been glued into the wall brackets at some point which does not permit them to be 'slipped' in and out. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. There are small chips to the top edges of the glass slip shades as presented in the photos, and consistent with age and use. It is unknown if the light switches are in working order.
