Pair of Barovier & Toso Leaf Sconces Murano Art Glass Clear Golden, 1970s
About the Item
Fabulous pair of Barovier & Toso wall or ceiling lamps in Murano artistic glass with floral leaf, Italy, circa 1970s. They have a gorgeous hand crafted floral leaf shape and are made with the "dewy" technique. The clear fluted glass combined with glittering 24K gold inclusions gives them a noble and chic look. Each glass leaf is suspended from a brass backplate with a patinated brass E14 socket for candle bulbs. They are 35cm/14.57in high, 20 cm wide and 13cm deep. They remain in excellent original vintage condition, fully functional and ready to use. These Murano beauties are of great quality comparable to Venini and Seguso, an eye catcher and a perfect addition and update to any elegant or mid-century modern interior. When lit or unlit, they fill any room with noble elegance.
