About the Item
A Pair of french Art Deco wall lamps by Genet et Michon.
The manufactory was founded in 1911 in Paris by Philippe Genet et Lucien Michon. Their lamps were exhibited at various exhibitions. They were outfitters of the great Ocean liners.
The two wall lamps are made of fire-gilded bronze and have the original Bakelite switch.
Thick walled modeled pressed glass. The two sconces are by far among the "high end" objects of the Art Deco era.
