Pair Spanish Revival Sconces Late 1920s

About the Item

Priced per pair With intricate detailing from the organic hammered back plate to the slit tail at the bottom of the spire, all aspects speak to the influence European architecture had on American design in the 1920s. Often referred to as the Romantic era of American design which includes all the revival styles and the American born Storybook style. Showing astute business acumen, these were also designed to fit into any of the popular styles of the day including Arts & Crafts, Tudor, Gothic, Bungalow and Craftsman. Refinished in an oil rubbed bronze color, an authentic color of their day. Measures: Nice and tall, standing 18 inches high including bulbs. Width is 7 5/8 inches. Projection: 4 5/8 inches.
