About the Item
Very subtle Minimalist design by Louis Kallf for Philips (marked) from the Netherlands, 1950s. This metal wall lamp with Perspex white shade really stands out in Dutch design and has become very rare the last few years. The semi-Industrial looks, the black metal parts together with the white shade will add class and elegance to your room.
From the mid-1920s-1960s Louis Kalff established the advertising and design Section of Philips. Nowadays his designs are getting hard to find in good condition.
This light still has all the original parts and joints to attach it on the wall. Very good vintage condition; only small user marks and very nice patina all-over.
