Lion Lighting Mfg. Co. is known for having produced high quality vintage and antique light fixtures and lamps during the first quarter of the 20th century; these vintage examples are no exception. Done in solid brass in a Tudor, Gothic, or Spanish Revival style, they are visually pleasing with a bow front frame to support a single candle lamp and topping off with a large Fleur de Lis.
These have retained their original finish and patina, just cleaned up with a light protective wax. Crisp detailing is seen in the casting.

Most likely from the early to mid '20s when there was a noticeable European influence in American design, from the revival series (Spanish, Tudor, French, Gothic, etc) to the Storybook style. The inset quatrefoil (four leaf) designs, the raised trefoil (three leaf) design at the bottom, stylized Fleur de lys at the top, castle top look around the bottom of the candle stems, and the bottom loop all add to the European feel.
