Mid-Century Modern sconce or wall light by Wilhelm Wagenfeld for Lindner Keramik 1950s Germany. Sconce or wall light from white milky glass and pastel blue ceramic with two E 14 sockets. Wilhelm Wagenfeld studied with the important teachers Laszlo Moholy Nagy and Christian Dell at the Bauhaus in Weimar. Wilhelm Wagenfeld created few design icons like this sconce or the Bauhaus Table Lamp MT8 or the Kubis storage container. Wilhelm Wagenfeld is famed for minimalistic, timeless and well thought through designs and he won awards like Mailänder Triennale 1940.     A Midcentury Modern double socket wall lamp/sconce dating back to the 1950s, designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld. Made of porcelain with a glossy black glaze accentuated by two white opaline glass lampshades/bulb covers. Based on our experience so far, the black version is relatively rare and also the most in demand. Executed by Linder Wandleuchten in Germany, this piece offers two E14 light sources and is preserved in excellent condition. It's suitable for various rooms, with a particular recommendation for bathrooms or as a vanity mirror light. Wilhelm Wagenfeld was a renowned German designer recognized for his significant contributions to the field of industrial design.
