American Folk Art Table Lamp

About the Item

Very stylish folk art carving of an urn with flame. Likely from a hears of the mid nineteenth century. This sculpture is hand carved from pine and retains the original painted and gilded surface. The plinth upon which it is mounted is made from wood and plaster. The measurements are for the height to the socket.

  • Condition:
    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. This piece is excellent and would add a lot of character to any room. The original surface is absolutely gorgeous. Small chip to the rim of the base which can be seen in the photographs. To me it's character, but can have filled if desired.
