An American Panel Lamp w/ Metal Overlay, Signed B & H, ca. 1915

About the Item

A top of the line panel lamp by Bradley & Hubbard, well known for producing some of the best panel lamps at the early part of the 20th century. The overlay is very attractive and there is plenty of it. The rich ruby red lower section of glass is a perfect compliment to the light yellow glass above. The original base is signed on the underside with the Bradley & Hubbard mark. A great piece of American lighting.

Additions or alterations made to the original: The original sockets have been replaced with newer ones. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. On 2 of the 6 sides at the bottom portion of the shade there is some metal loss. The 2 sides are opposite each other and the metal loss is small and equal. Not obvious unless pointed out. Doesn't really detract from the overall beauty of this lamp.
