ARA Brass and Copper Italian Design Table Lamp, 1970
About the Item
Linear but refined, this brass and copper lamp shows all the meticulous and complex manufacturing with which it was made.
The lamp has a very original and particular design; it is composed of a cubic base covered in copper and brass leaves, with a whole series of long brass leaves beaten and folded by hand positioned on top. The leaves are more or less long in size, have a central rib and are worked and beaten by hand. When turned on, the lamp has a very beautiful effect, as can also be seen from the photos, heating the cold metal and making the lamp very real. The lamp has a bulb with a large socket.
