Art Deco WMF Ikora Paul Haustein "Congo" Table Lamp

About the Item

An Art Deco silvered and patinated brass and ivory "Congo" IKORA WMF covered jar lamp (model no. 110/216, circa 1929). Designed by Paul Haustein for WMF, Germany. Body of spherical base made of silvered and copper plated brass, etched decoration, wired for two lights. With metal mounting, shade and wooden base. The lamp can be extended, by sliding it out (easy to fit a lampshade). Marked in the wood on the bottom with the WMF Ikora hallmark. Dimensions: Height 57cm, diameter 44 cm (with shade). Diameter: 20cm, low height: 48 cm. high: 58.5 cm. (no shade).
