About the Item
Stoneware 'Totem Lamp' - large table lamp or small floor lamp. Its a sculptural piece, made from handcrafted ceramic elements in natural tones of terracotta and stoneware. Stylistically it borders brutalism and abstract modernism in appearance. It was designed by English Bernard Rooke during the late 1960s. This is an early example from circa 1970. It features a fluted black danish paper shade. It is inscribed with Rooke's studio stamp of authenticity to its base. Measurements: H: 83 cm, Diameter: 40 cm (shade). Base dept: 13 cm. For the US. It will come installed with a 110 watt adaptor plug ready for use We have another larger piece with white Le Klint shade listed as well.
