About the Item
Absolutely delightful boudoir lamps produced in 1951 by C.A.L.B., Cristalleria Artistica Lavorazione Brevettata, in Colle di Val d’Elsa, Italy where the finest crystal has been produced since the Middle Ages.
Two lamps available. One crimson. One green. Enameled aluminum cone light on round clear crystal base with brass fittings. Takes a single candelabra size bulb E12 or E14 up to 60 watts. Cord switch.
When these were produced in 1951 they were sold as lamps to sit on top of the television set.
Today they are chic little accent lamps for any room. They evoke Gio Ponti who designed with CALB crystal.
