About the Item
Decalcomania started in the 1860's in Germany, and became popular in England in the 19th century.
Albums of colored lithographic ornaments, flowers, etc. could be purchased and cut up and used to decorated objects, furniture, frames and so forth. Thus creating a fashion for charming, "do it yourself", one of a kind, collectibles.
Now wired for electricity.
