Early 20th Century Art Nouveau Brass Desk Table Lamp, Muller Freres Paste Glass
About the Item
An elegant table lamp or desk lamp, made of brass on a marble plinth. The lampshade is made of pasta glass, also called "Pate de Verte". When the lamp is switched on, it gives a nice and warm atmosphere. The lampshade is signed Muller Frères Lunneville France. The lamp is adjustable by the wing nuts.
The lamp is made in the late French Art Nouveau period, circa 1900-1910. The fitting has a bayonet socket. The pasta glass lampshade is in good condition, no cracks or repairs, it has dull spots in a few places, see pictures.
