Practical size Art Deco desk lamp with a wonderful look and feel.
There is something about table lamps from the past that you just don't find in modern lamps. If you don't have the right eye than this particular 1920s desk lamp might look 'simple'. However, it is hard to explain what it is that designers from the past have managed to achieve which makes lamps from the early 20th century so stylish and classy. To me, that so called 'simplicity' is the result of the timelessness of the design and of the quality, the look and the durability of the materials of which they are made. It may be the ultimate goal for designers to make a design so stylish and timeless that it actually looks simple, when it really isn't at all. This mushroom shaped, patinated brass table lamp is in used but excellent condition and it radiates exactly the perfect amount of light to create just the right atmosphere on a desk, side table, end table etc. You can simply switch the light on and off, by turning the original bakelite button on the stem. This work of beauty is professionally rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage the world over. When purchased by an American client we will even attach an American power plug so that she can be used and enjoyed upon arrival.
