French Gilt-Bronze Neoclassical Bouillotte Lamp with Tole Shade
About the Item
Very nice quality, French, Louis XVI style gilt bronze Bouillotte lamp with green painted tole shade, (19th century). The lamp features nicely chiseled acanthus leaves, garlands, central flame, hoofed feet and other neoclassical details. The painted tole shade is decorated with anthemion and stylized vine. The height of the shade is not adjustable. Lamp will be re-wired for US with two-light.
