About the Item
Made of a linen shade with a simple handcrafted wooden base, this table lamp will bring to your interior an interesting and functional work of art. The origami-inspired lampshade provides a bright, yet soft ambient light and shows the beautiful texture of the linen. The material softly diffuses the light and lets some of the folding lines of our origami shades shine brightly emphasizing the geometric pattern.

La Loupe is an independent design studio, that creates handcrafted lighting and decor, founded by Jorgelina Lopez and her husband Marco Duenas.
Believing in the beauty and value of slow and sustainable production, their work seeks to explore artisanal processes with new technologies and creative concepts. The name of their studio ( loupe / lüp/: small magnifying glass) symbolizes the process of exploration and discovery, representing the visual attention they bring to their designs. With an aesthetic drawn from the 20th-century art and design movements, geometric forms and clean lines are reflected in the pieces they craft. Each piece is created and handcrafted by them at their textile studio and woodshop in Baltimore City, Maryland - USA
