About the Item

This unusual vintage table or bedside lamp was made in Germany in the 1930s-1940s during the Bauhaus period. It is made of polished brass and has got an adjustable lamp shade in cream marbled opaline glass. The lamp can be used as a table lamp as well as a wall light. Rewired and ready for use in any country of the world. It comes with a standard continental European 2-pin plug and adapter for use in US. The light requires one E27 bulb.

Condition:

Refinished. Rewired. Wear consistent with age and use. The lamp has been rewired with new silk cord for use in US, Europe and Asia. There are 2 very tiny dings to the base and some wear and one small chip on the inside rim of the lamp shade.
