White matte table lamp by Cari Zalloni for Steuler.
Steuler was founded by Georg Steuler. Most fame was gained by the 'Zyklon', 'Facette', and 'Çontinua' series from designer Cari Zalloni.
On the bottom we can read a relief print, the word Germany is not used. Cari Zalloni was a designer of Greek, Italian and Austrian origin. Born in Athens with an Austrian mother and Greek / Italian father, he grew up and studied in Austria. After studying at the art academy in Vienna, he went to Italy, where he worked as a product designer for furniture. In the late 60s and 70s he worked for the West German manufacturer Steuler. Cari Zalloni died in 2012. The lamp is in good condition with some signs of age and use (see:images).
