Max Bill Sun Desk Lamp Gold Anodized Aluminum, Switzerland 1955

About the Item

Iconic and very large Max Bill Desk Lamp, Switzerland 1951 Large Max Bill table lamp with a rare finish and in very good condition. This double bell shaped desk light does not appear large in pictures but effectively it's pretty large with a max height of 23.2". Minimal in its form and shapes it's a classic Max Bill with a highly functional character also. The fully adjustable stem let you choose any position, the heavy foot also allows you to do that. This piece has not been lacquered as so many but anodized golden which looks pretty cool and is pretty rare as well. The condition is good to very good, seeing its age. There are some minimal scratches and 2 small bumps. The sticker derives from a former company that was using this light and can be removed if desired. It uses one e26/27 bulb with 100W max. The volt can be adjusted at the bottom of the light from 110-250V which is pretty handy. Dimensions are 23.6“ (height) x 5.9“.
