A modern vintage black glass table lamp designed designed and realized by Lino Tagliapietra for La Murrina, Murano Italy 1972, which shows a thick walled curved glass body.
This high quality design piece was created by the famed glass artist Lino Tagliapietra for La Murrina 1972 and won an award at the Barcelona design fair in 1973.
Lino Tagliapietra (born 1934) is a Venetian glass artist, who has worked also extensively in the United States as artist, teacher and mentor.
The curved table lamp shows in the middle a stripe with clear glass, which allows the cosy and gentle light shine to come through.
Very good condition with signs of age and use like a tiny spot at the base.
