Beautiful original black Bauhaus desk / table lamp. In the style of Marianne Brandt, this lamp is a wonderful representation of the dawn of midcentury modern design reaching backwards with its raw and industrial materials and at the same time pointing forwards with its simplistic and artistic shapes.
This lamp has been kept in its original condition, which is quite stunning considering it to be almost a 100 years old. The original wiring and bakelite plug are in excellent and fully functional condition. A great opportunity to bring a stylish object into your home, that is not only beautiful but also provides for functionality and history wherever it is placed.
