About the Item
Abigail is a ceramic artist based in London, who trained under Loewe Craft Prize finalist Akiko Hirai.
”I come to ceramics from a background in painting, so that the body and form of clay is another surface for making marks and cultivating textures. Unlike a painting, a pot has no front or back, but one can reach inside it, respond to the human impulse to touch and handle it”
A unique pair of bespoke lamps, featuring Abigail’s signature firing process with cobalt blue underglaze exclusive to Almasy, mounted on fine brass bases and mounted as lamps.
These can be made to order, each piece varying slightly.
