Pair of Jeweled Faceted Black Solid Murano Glass and Chrome Lamps, Italy, 2022
About the Item
Pair of ebony black colored Murano glass lamps handcrafted by Italian master Murano Glass maker Alberto Donà. These lamps are solid and heavy and almost jewel-like with its faceted cuts throughout the glass. The design is called "briolette" which derives from their faceted cut that resembles that of a diamond. Rich and deep color that resembles a black diamond. Measurements are 10" H for the glass base x 12" diameter base at bottom. 15" total height to top of lightbulb socket. Polished chrome stem and socket. Wired for U.S. use. This pair of Murano glass lamps are on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center. Please let us know if you would like an adaptor on the socket to use with a regular lampshade.
