Pair of Mercury Glass Banquet Lamps
About the Item
Pair of Mercury glass Banquet lamps. Made in the style of antique oil burning table lamps. Cast metal bases with Neo-rococo design, in a dark almost black patina. Tall slender mercury glass stem and mercury glass faux oil reserve. Faux burner and break with matching patina to the base. Two light cluster with pull chain sockets. Standard Edison base bulbs, 100 wattt max. Brown cloth cord and an antique style modern plug.
Metals have all been refinished in a matching patina and in excellent condition. Mercury glass with characteristic irregularities. Completely restored and rewired. American, C. 1940.
