Pair of Mid-20th Century Brass Candlestick Lamps
About the Item
Converted mid-20th century candlestick table lamps. They are comprised of brass with decorative copper trimming. Their columnar form is reminiscent of James Mont's Hollywood Regency creations, which combined various styles into his own idiosyncratic designs. The brass has a weathered, gold-hued surface. Its wear makes the lamps all the more appealing, adding a touch of history. The lamps are rewired with single socket bulbs. The custom shades are silk string with silk backing in a cream-white tone.
