About the Item
Glass table lamp by artist Jonas Trampedach. This large lamp is produced at Holmegaard Glassworks, Denmark, using the technique of blowing through a cane. The amount of air blown determines the size of the object, each piece weighs about 20Kg.
The uniqueness of each piece is due to the skill of the glazier and the very nature of blown glass, which never produces two identical pieces.
The glass body is equipped with a stainless steel base that also holds the light source.
They are lonely pieces. They come in a variety of colours, depending on the pigments of the glass. This model in particular is a mix of warm orange and yellow.
