About the Item
Pair of slightly bulged Satsuma earthenware lamps with a gilt bronze mount. Beige background decoration with geishas surrounded with dahlias in outside scenes and flanked by a palm leaves frieze beneath and alveoli frieze above. Chiseled and gilt bronze mount with a circular base standing on four legs decorated with swirls and rosettes, festoon shape openwork upper part.
Work made circa 1880.
