Characterized by clean lines, the elegant, warm wood, and the shiny brass, the Swedish Modern lighting models of Boréns Borås are eternally timeless and timely. Swedish lighting manufacturers were masters of creating designs with great texture variety as this rare “B8449” table lamp shows. The brass lampshade “crowns” the brass base and oak neck beautifully. It is in the so-called ‘drum’ shape which adds a modern touch compared to empire shades. This lamp’s wide-brimmed, polished brass shade creates both decorative and functional lighting. It appears as if the elongated wood neck pierces through the shade, ending in a “button” at the top.
