H 55 cm W 50 cm D 20 cm
Material: matt black lacquered aluminum, nickel-plated brass mounting, pressure switch in base, 1 E 27 bulb, textile-sheathed connection cable.
Condition: good condition
Special features: with few signs of use. Formally, this rare French desk lamp takes up geometric shapes. The large ball joints at the base and at the top of the reflector show decoration with perfect functionality. The lamp has been rewired by our electrician.
About this object: 2-way adjustable thanks to the decorative ball joints, concise and unique in form, this is how the French lamp industry set itself apart from the overpowering German competition. Kaiser in Germany still followed the design principles of the Bauhaus after the war, while JUMO in Paris preferred a modern, more organically shaped style.
