About the Item
H 120 cm W 100 cm D 16.5 cm
Material: painted sheet steel, nickel-plated brass, painted cast iron, painted sheet iron shade, black textile-coated connection cable, one E 27 light point, switch integrated in the socket.
Condition: good
Special features: with few signs of wear. Here we show an extremely rare work light from MIDGARD. The lamp has a completely unique design. All parts are specially made for this model, no ready-made parts were used. The extremely strong, cast-iron clamping device with the adjustable ball head ensures a firm hold on the worktop and optimum adjustability. All joints are made of forged steel parts and offer the best, reliable adjustability in every direction.
About this object: Our Midgard lamp is completely original and has a different reflector, not the usual obliquely cut model. The MIDGARD lamp by Curt Fischer was in use in the BAUHAUS workshops, there is the saying that one would have had to design a good work lamp if the unrivaled MIFGARD from Auma in Thuringia did not already exist. Our piece has the original dark brown finish on the clamp and rod and is signed in the fork at the top.
