About the Item
This is a Chinese Blanc de Chine White Porcelain vase form lamp, dating back to the period between 1960-1990.. The silhouette in pierced white porcelain--blanc de chine--the scroll ears, and the silk white barrel lamp shade make this an elegant lighting statement in a variety of interior design settings.
The porcelain vase body was designed as an openwork piece with reticulated details. The design of the piece is floral, cherry blossoms on trees. It has two handles, one on each side of the vase's neck.
The lamp is 34 inches tall. The base is metal. This is a dramatic lamp that is vintage, so it shows signs of wear at the base to the paint finish.
