20th Century Blue Italian Oval Cut Crystal Glass Floor Mirror by Cristal Art
About the Item
A dark-blue, vintage Mid-Century Modern Italian oval floor mirror made of hand blown cut crystal glass with its original colorful mirror glass, produced by Cristal Art in good condition. The front side is detailed by six small, glass décor pieces, the backside of the large wall mirror is made of hand crafted Walnut, standing on two short wooden feet. Wear consistent with age and use. circa 1950 - 1960, Milan, Italy.
Cristal Art was an Italian company founded in 1944 in Turin, Italy by Giuseppe and Giovanni Donna. Cristal Art was a furniture company, specialized in creating, designing glass furniture and mirrors. Between the 1950’s and 1980’s, they worked together with the Italian manufacture FontanaArte and SantAmbrogio & De Berti. Cristal Art closed their company in 1999.
