French 19th Century Napoleon III Style Mirror

About the Item

This is a massive gold gilt mirror from 19th century France, made in the style of Napoleon III and dripping in detail. A wonderfully carved crest tops the whole; designed with intricate floral garland, flowing ribbon, and scrolling leaves. Lambs tongue and bead carving perimeter the beveled glass, adding even more decoration. This stunning mirror stands at over 6 feet tall with a great patina.
