About the Item

A masterpiece of design and execution, this beautiful girandole exhibits every opulent detail of the Chinese Chippendale period. Elaborate C and S scrolls, icicles, rockeries, a seated Chinaman and completed with elaborate candle arms. England, circa 1760. Measures: Height 37.5in / 95cm Width 16in / 40.5cm Depth 6in / 15cm.
