19th century antique French carved oak pier mantel mirror renaissance Louis XIV ~ Direct from France ~ A large and lovely antique French wall mirror, in full pier mirror size ~ Beautiful hand carved designs with amazing craftsmanship ~ Large upper crown features open carved foliate scrolls with a dimensional center cartouche ~ Opulent carvings continue down either side, including bundles of grapes ~ Original beveled mirror with rounded top edges ~ Dark finish and lovely aged patina ~ Another quality antique frame and mirror from our large inventory!, ~ circa 1890 Measurements 58.5” height x 36.5” x 2.25”. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Good condition for its age, normal signs of age, use, dings, scratches, imperfections. Original beveled mirror reflection is good; age spotting, as to be expected. No wood back, so mirror moves within the frame.
